Peter De Jianne was born on July 4th, 1990 in Mountainside, New Jersey. He is the middle child with a "younger" twin brother Thomas and an older brother Michael. Growing up Peter loved staying active playing various sports and outdoor activities, he especially took a liking to skiing, lacrosse, and weightlifting.

Peter graduated from Syracuse University Magna Cum Laude with a degree in Economics and International Business in 2012. Shortly after graduating, he started his professional career in business and in the spring of 2014, he moved to Manhattan where he currently resides.

In June of 2016 Peter was introduced to The Decathlon, an athletic competition raising money for pediatric cancer research at MSK. Through this organization Peter would develop his passion of raising money for this great cause. While attending an event at MSK he met some of the patients, who were the biggest inspiration to write his first book, Milo and Shiloh’s Big Move.

The patients at MSK will always have a friend in Peter fighting for them to find a cure.
